Back Street Girls -GOKUDOLS- (2018)
A group of 3 yakuza failed their boss for the last time. After messing up an important job, the boss gave them 2 choices: honorably commit suicide, or go to Thailand to get a sex reassignment surgery in order to become "female" idols. After a gruesome year training to become idols, they successfully debut, with overwhelming popularity, much to their dismay. This is where their tragedy truly begins.

Season 1:
Forced to surgically alter their bodies into girls, three Yakuza brothers debut on the underground J-Pop idol scene after a year of intense training.
Junior Yakuza member Kimura becomes the idol unit's personal assistant. Boss Inugane books a live radio interview to promote the Gokudols.
The Gokudols are sent to audition for a Yakuza movie. Mari and Chika visit their fathers for the first time since their transformations.
Chika sees her former lover in the audience of one of their performances. The Gokudols visit a local old-fashioned café for a television appearance.
After hearing of blood brother Inugane's lucrative idol business, the New York mafia boss Steve sends one of his own members to join the Gokudols.
The overworked girls inform Boss Inugane that they're too tired to perform. An influential enka singer insults the Gokudols during a live radio show.
The Gokudols must share the theater stage with an actual high school girl after Boss Inugane allows her to join the idol unit as their understudy.
With enka singer Natsuko's financial backing, the men and women whose lives were ruined by the Gokudols cast their own idol unit to take them head-on.
While dejected that the fans are unresponsive to her efforts, understudy Yui informs Boss Inugane that another talent agency has recruited her.
Tired of berating the Gokudols for their lack of showmanship, Boss Inugane gives them a surprising ultimatum that will alter the idol unit's future.
