Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey is the second season and the 25th entry in Tsuburaya Productions' long-running Ultra Series. Like its predecessor Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, NEO is a pay-per-view service. The first episode was distributed for free online on December 12, 2008, and remained available until January 31, 2009. Broadcast of the show on BS11 beginning December 20, 2008. The series was followed by Mega Monster Battle Gymnastics 大怪獣バトル体操, a non-canon morning exercise program for children starring Shota Minami. Mega Monster Battle Gymnastics also had a touring stage show with dancing and exercises set to music and starring Shota Minami, with cameo appearances by Hiroyuki Konishi and Saki Kamiryo.

The Great Monster Battle File! And here is today's monster: The Magnetic Monster Antlar! His weapon is these saw-tooth mandibles! He dug them right into Gomora, didn't he. He uses electro-magnetic waves from his feelers to draw in enemies or prey. His body is strong enough to even repel a specium beam.
The Great Monster Battle File! And here is today's monster: The One-Horned Super-Beast Vakishim! His weapon is missiles fired from his head! The Pendragon had a really close call! He went into a different dimension and broke through the sky. That's incredible, huh?
The Great Monster Battle File! And here is today's monster: The Despot monster Tyrant! With his Alien Icarus arrow beam, Bemstar energy absorber, and Barabba steel cannonballs, this monster is strong enough to even have once beaten Ultraman, Seven, and Ace.
The Great Monster Battle File! And here is today's monster: The Space Monster Eleking! In his fight with Tyrant, he defended the Pendragon. And, at the last moment, he cut his link to Rei. He saved Rei's life!
