Chōjin Sentai Jetman (1991)
The Sky Force sends five highly trained operatives to participate in an experiment which will expose them to Birdonic Waves, resulting in superhuman abilities. But when the Earth Ship is attacked by Vyram, the majority of the Birdonic Waves are sent to Earth and find four unsuspecting civilians. Now, it's up to these four accidental super humans – Raita, Kaori, Ako, and Gai – alongside Ryu, the only original operative to receive Birdonic Waves, to defend their dimension against Vyram.

Season 1:
An experiment to make heroes with the power of Birdonic Waves goes wrong with the arrival of the Dimensional War Party Vyram, forcing Ryu Tendo (the only successful subject) to track down the four who were accidentally struck to become the Jetman alongside him!
The team continues to track down the remaining two hit by the Birdonic Waves to complete the Jetman.
Ryu faces an uphill battle to recruit the selfish Gai for the team while Tran releases a faucet Dimension Beast to torment the populace.
Kaori leaves the Jetman in anger over her princess-like attitude, yet sees who her real allies are when her childhood fiance returns to Japan.
After Kaori temporarily loses function of her legs, Gai protects her as the Jetman faces Vyram attacks on multiple fronts.
Gai becomes trapped in an apartment transformed into a giant Dimension Beast, while Ryu's attempt to rescue him forces him to face the wrath of Radiguet.
Ryu becomes pestered by his grandmother to meet a girl for an arranged marriage while Maria sends out a mirror-trapping Dimension Beast.
A diamond cursed in giving violence and madness is changed into a Dimension Beast that turns Ako against Kaori.
A friendly girl from Raita's home shocks him when she tries to act sophisticated in the city as Tran changes people with a fashion Dimension Beast.
A ramen-loving student obsessed with Ako is influenced by a noodle Dimensional Beast to create the ultimate product to win her love.
Grey plays with the Jetman using a vending machine Dimension Beast that awakens deeper personality traits that ruin their effectiveness.
A bus taking Kaori and Raita to the countryside becomes the scene of bizarre murders set up by Tran's Dimension Beast, forcing the passengers to figure who is the culprit.
Ryu's lingering feelings for Rie complicates his relations with Kaori as Gai tries to force her into taking him instead.
After Kaori is captured in a photo by Maria and Camera Dimension, the Jetman must fight to save her while Ryu and Gai try to work out their feelings for her.
Ako's best high school friend begins to worry about her keeping secrets from her regarding her duty as a member of Jetman.
When a Dimension Beast brings paper drawings to life, Ryu discovers a girl brought forth through the power who is trying to reach someone dear to her.
As Gai continues to try and confront Kaori about his feelings for her, the true Vyram leader comes to Earth to bring forth the ultimate destroyer.
As Gai falls victim to Juuza's crystal curse, the memory-less human Radiguet encounters a girl who appears to understand him.
Kaori loses her mind when she is manipulated by a fortune-telling Dimension Beast who claims it can see her death.
Gai is forced by a pesky girl to save her sister and other potential newlyweds from a love-stealing vacuum cleaner Dimension Beast.
A pile of garbage which includes a beloved toy of Ako's becomes a Dimension Beast who only wants to do good and protect his master.
Ryu confronts both Gai and Kaori in hopes of trying to resolve their emotions regarding him, only leading to threatening team collapse!
As the Jetman continue to split apart over their feelings, a squad from the Back Dimension arrives on Earth to face down Radiguet's mature Semimaru.
The Back Dimension Warriors connect with the Jetman as they both use their technology and emotions to drive their final battle with the Vyram and Semimaru.
Gai becomes the Jetman's only hope when their shadows come to life under the control of Maria's new Bio-Dimensional Beast.
A Bio-Dimension Beast sends the Jetman to the Stone Age, where Raita becomes an inspiration to a local tribe.
When three Jetman have their souls taken by Radiguet, Ryu must pursue them into the spiritual world to rescue them.
A Dimension Beast remaining after the Vyram has moved on tries to prove his own existence, even if he doesn't quite seem as evil as he lets on.
Two Back Dimension warriors pursue Radiguet to the Front Dimension, where the Vyram leader prepares to use their desires for revenge against them.
Kaori begins to confront Gai about what she may truly feel about him as a mysterious demon begins searching for warriors that can revive his two masters.
Gai quits the Jetman having won Kaori's heart; while the battle with the demons finally reveals to Ryu the truth regarding Rie's fate.
Ryu loses his mind from discovering Rie's fate as Maria, forcing Gai to return to try and talk sense and to return to the fight.
Ryu must work with a girl who is having strange dreams about her deceased father to gain the plans for a new weapon to deal with a slippery Bio-Dimension Beast.
Ryu suspiciously makes a deal with Gray to sacrifice Tetra Boy for Rie, making him face off against the other Jetman.
Ako befriends a girl who only finds courage through a friendly dove but can't find the courage within herself.
Taunted for his childish ways, Tran decides to attack the vacationing Jetman to prove how much of a threat he is.
With Tran reaching an adult form, the reborn Tranza decides to show his superiority to all, including the Jetman and Vyram!
When the Jetman capture a Bio-Dimension Bug, a friend of Ryu's tries to take it for his own glory while Tranza tries to prevent its secrets from being known.
Gai faces Gray in a roulette showdown in order to win back his team after they become captured.
When Radiguet creates a new Bio-Dimension Beast that sucks away the Birdonic Wave power of the Jetman, they suddenly become replaced by a new squadron unaffected by its power!
As the original Jetman find themselves powerless and cast out by Commander Ichijou and the Neo-Jetman, Tranza decides to use Meteor BEM for his own mission to destroy the heroes.
A failed robot experiment of Tranza's tries to learn more about the world during a scenario where Ryu, Maria and Gray have a peculiar encounter.
Radiguet infects Odagari with a Bio-Dimension Beast that makes her malicious against her own team, forcing the Jetman to take a risky step to save her.
Tranza unveils his ultimate robotic weapon, whose power is enough to force Jetman into their ultimate crisis.
With their three teammates captured by Tranza to power Veronica, Ryu and Gai must fight to overcome their greatest crisis, even if they gain some unexpected assistance.
Raita must face an old childhood fear after a being from another dimension becomes a horrifying tomato monster using his past memories.
Tranza hunts down the Jetman one by one in a final campaign to eliminate them, where Ryu gains an important ally in facing the self-proclaimed Vyram emperor!
Maria is infected by Radiguet with a new power that mutates her into a vampiric being reliant on blood, even as Ryu tries one last time to save her.
As Ryu succumbs to the vampiric power controlled by Maria, the female Vyram commander tries to figure out where she truly belongs as she goes forth one final time.
Driven by anger to avenge Rie's death, Ryu goes to face Radiguet alone; while Gai is forced by Grey to face him in a one-on-one final showdown.
As Radiguet ascends to an unstoppable final form, the Jetman must figure how to finally defeat him in order to end the interdimensional threat forever!
