Season 1:
Ren Bromberg and Alexis Rodriguez are blissfully living their lives as spoiled, entitled Millennials, attempting to establish their own trendy pop-up store. Their lives are turned upside down when their parents-along with their entire Mafia-syndicate-are arrested in a sting operation. With their accounts frozen and no access to funds, Ren and Alexis need to figure out how to make money, receiving some controversial advice from Ren's now incarcerated father, who advises they take up the "family business". Ren refuses, and supported by her friends Alexis and Sal, states she'll find a way to continue her life without her dad's shady help.
With frozen assets and no funds, Ren and Alexis decide to begin their first ever job search. Despite Sal's attempts to enlighten them about the realities of finding a job, their inexperience and arrogance ultimately leads them to failure. Only after Ren realizes how difficult it is to find a 'normal' job, she makes the decision to contact her dad's old associate in the hopes that he can help her out financially. But first, she's gotta find Dad's 'rolodex' - whatever that is.
Ren, Alexis, and Sal tear apart Ren's home looking for the hidden rolodex that contains the contact information they need. When they finally find it, it leads them to an arms dealer codenamed 'The Black Horse', who offers them a task in exchange for money. However, their excursion goes awry when our three heroes are suddenly attacked, leading to a nearly fatal situation for Sal.
In order to pay back the Black Horse for saving Sal's life, Ren and Alexis are sent to do another task. This time, it involves a stakeout at the business of Francesca DiMarco, who is, unbeknownst to them, a rival Mafia boss.
While the Millennials are working toward opening their pop-up store, an intruder hell-bent on killing Ren sneaks in and attacks the group, with deadly consequences. But now the question becomes: what to do with the body?
Ren, Alexis and Sal are tasked with bringing a sleazy drug dealer back to Francesca so she can get the money he owes her. Thinking on her feet, Ren manipulates the situation in her favor so that she can make some money for the pop-up store.
After skimming MDMA off Francesca's drug dealer, Ren decides to use her entrepreneurial spirit to sell it for her own profit. However, not everything goes as planned when Alexis bails, and Sal, who's helping her hock the drugs, accidentally gets himself busted by an undercover cop.
Ren makes a last-ditch effort to get some cash by selling her dad's old Rolex. However, when she finds out the watch has more than just a deep, emotional connection to her family, she fights to get it back.
In this two-part finale, Ren and Alexis must once again put the plans for their pop-up store on hold as they deal with yet another Mob-related setback. Ren heads off alone to deal with the drama, but ends up facing a disastrous betrayal instead. Can Alexis and Sal come to the rescue before it's too late?
