Season 1:
A comedy duo of recent high-school grads uses a less-than-stellar performance at their alma mater as motivation to improve enough for the big leagues.
Tokonatsu and RDeco host a night of comedy, hoping to boost their brand for an upcoming competition. Rin thinks back to when she first met Nayuta.
The two comedy teams head to Shibuya to see Tomita and Hatsuna in action--and take in a JK Cool show on the way. Manatsu and Kanae reach a decision.
Nayuta's sister invites Tokonatsu, RDeco, and Freak! to entertain the guests at the hot-spring inn she manages, but they turn out to be a tough crowd.
Tomita takes everyone on a whirlwind tour to see the best the region has to offer, a trip that's chock-full of ideas for their second show at the inn.
Manatsu and Kanae submit their act to the High-School Comedy preliminaries, but aren't prepared for the aftermath once the results are announced.
The two teams savor the sights, sounds, and snacks of Osaka, crossing paths with fellow comedians and taking in a show at their comedy mecca.
On their second day in Osaka, the two teams see more comedy and discuss the craft with a handful of show-business seniors before returning to Tokyo.
Fubuki and Mafuyu suffer a crisis that could mean the end of Tokonatsu. It's up to Rin and Nayuta to shake things up a little in the name of comedy.
Tokonatsu and RDeco return to Hajime's inn for another show and do a temple tour to prep for the big playoffs. Manatsu and Kanae fine-tune their act.
It's time for the New Comedy Kings playoffs, where the up-and-coming teams in the preliminaries go for laughs, applause--and a pass to the next round.
Tragedy strikes RDeco just before the second round of the New Comedy Kings playoffs, and afterward, both teams must start thinking about the future.
