Season 1:
Dejiko (Digi Charat), Puchiko (Petit Charat) and Gema are heading for Earth in their cat shaped UFO, in order to complete Dejiko's "princess training", but because of an explosion, Puchiko is blown outside the ship.
After they manage to land safely on Earth, Dejiko and Gema search for Puchiko and find her inside a toy department.
Dejiko is trying to find her white, cat-face shaped pochette, in which she had her cellphone.
Dejiko and Puchiko meet a junior high girl, Usada Hikaru, that insists to be called Rabi-en-Rose.
Dejiko and Puchiko become popular after making cakes called "Puchikos" that look just like Puchiko's pochette.
Gema tells everybody about how life was on Planet Di Gi Charat, the home planet of Dejiko and Puchiko.
Rabi-en-Rose wants to enter an idol competition.
Because of a new green bath toy that grows when wet is occupying the bathroom, Dejiko and the others decide to go to a public bath.
At school, Hikaru notices that Kyoshi has forgotten his lunch at home, and tries to get a "date" with him, offering him to share her lunch. However, Digiko and Puchiko are on their way to school bringing Kyoshi his lunch.
Digiko, Puchiko and Genma go shopping and end up inside a weird store where the cashier is a man with a jack o'lantern for a head.
Puchiko leaves on a quest to find some "nattou" (fermented soybeans), while Gema and Daifuku confront each other in an "ayatori" (string tricks) contest.
A young boy called Amaenbou who loves sweets and pulling on Digiko's tail starts following Digiko and Puchiko around everywhere they go.
At a special town meeting, it is decided that they should ask Akari Usada to have a concert there. The entire Neko Maneki Shopping Center prepares for the celebration.
On the day of the big celebration, Digiko and Puchiko try to get inside Akari's trailer, to talk to their idol.
Rabi en Rose tells a story about how she and Akari were friends a long time ago before she became an idol.
Everybody in town starts wearing special glasses that makes them look like Digiko, just to annoy her.
When Daifuku and Kinako leave on vacation, Digiko is left in charge of the bakery and has to make a cake for a client.
Kiyoshi starts developing super powers and accidentally destroys the school.
Digiko and Puchiko follow Hikaru to a shrine to see what she's doing. There they meet her best friend, Majingabbo, a water demon.
Digiko and the others go on a picnic, but they get lost in the forest and meet a giant who wants to eat them.
A documentary about the Neko Maneki Shopping Center is being filmed, and Digiko and the others are cast as actors.
Digiko and the others hold a party for Puchiko, where they ask her to name her favorite persons.
