Season 1:
Tim Noonan travels to Siberia, to attempt the boy to man ritual of the Nenets reindeer people. To become a man, Tim must learn to slaughter a reindeer without spilling a drop of its blood.
Tim travels to the Bijagos Islands, West Africa to undertake the unique boy to man ritual called Fanado. Tim must prove his bravery during a dangerous crocodile hunt, to receive the tribal scars.
Tim journeys to Mongolia to attempt the ancient Kazak boy to man ritual of the eagle hunters. Only if he can train a golden eagle to hunt the corsac fox will he become a true eagle man.
In towering sea caves off Thailand's Andaman Sea, Tim must conquer a terrifying rite of passage to reach the most exotic prize on earth and become a true cave climber.
Tim is deep in the bush of Cameroon in west Africa, where coming of age means coming face-to-fangs with the killer python.
Tim is with the tropical cowboys of Venezuela, known as Llaneros, where he must break in a bucking bronc to earn a rite of place on the world's most intense cattle drive.
Hiding away in a little known corner of the world called Kyrgyztan, Tim is mentored by members of the Kyrgyz tribe to take part in a strange and ferocious rite of passage.
In Madagascar's central highlands digging up the dead is a precursor to Tim's ultimate test... riding a wild bull.
In Mexico's Sierra Madre mountains, long-distance endurance running is a way of life for the Tarahumara people. To be a marathon man, Tim must run down a deer and catch it barehanded.
In the Himalayas, honey hunters are the most respected and influential people in their communities. Tim must brave sheer heights and marauding bees to earn his stripes as a man.
To join an ancient brotherhood in Papua New Guinea, Tim must prove himself as a sailor and shark wrestler.
There is no other tribe with a rite of passage as challenging as the Xavante. Tim must perform all the tasks of the Wai'a, pushing past physical limits to experience a spiritual awakening.
