Rent Strike
When no one in their apartment building can get the slumlord to make needed repairs, the sisters convince the other tenants to go along with a rent strike. Later, they learn that the title to the building has been transferred to them...making them the slumlords.

Season 1:
Charlene's night of romance is interrupted by her older sister Darlene, when she shows up after leaving her husband. Younger sister Marlene later drops by after losing her job as a toll-collector.
Charlene convinces her sisters and her boyfriend to join a health club. After hearing two women make fun of their size, Charlene wants to quit but is too humiliated to tell Marlene, Darlene, and Ronnie why she doesn't want to go back.
Determined to cheer up Darlene, Charlene insists on taking her to the laundramat to find a suitable companion.
Charlene dreads meeting Ronnie's mom. After much convincing, Charlene goes to meet her at a restaurant and manages to insult her before they are even introduced. Determined to make things right, Charlene invites Ronnie's mother over for dinner, only to find that nothing will satisfy her.
Darlene finds it difficult to control her anger when Wilbur demands spousal support.
After almost getting crushed in an accident, the sisters do some soul searching.
In this ""Fantasy Island"" spoof, the sisters visit Club Cabo. There they meet a tacky showman, a lecherous dwarf and perhaps, the men of their dreams.
When Charlene's interference gets Marlene fired as the Hefty Hose girl, she finds a job on a soap opera. Meanwhile, Darlene dog-sits a seemingly-sweet puppy who turns out to be more than she can handle.
Faced with the dreaded ""eating season"", the sisters decide not to have a Thanksgiving dinnner. After meeting a homeless orphan, they plan a real Thanksgiving dinner for him.
While Ronnie is away, the sisters try to keep the restaurant filled with customers. When Ronnie returns, he has some unexpected news for Charlene.

Charlene decides jury duty isn't so bad when she meets a handsome, civic-minded fellow juror.
When the apartment is deemed overcrowded, Marlene and Darlene decide to move out and be on their own.
