Season 1:
Needing to prove herself to her bosses, Sadie must favor trade with Liberty Direct News reporter Kimberlyn to secure a critical interview.
At a Bennett campaign rally, a surprise endorsement sends Sadie into a familiar spiral. Later, Kimberlyn snags a key interview amid personal and professional stress, while Grace and Lola form an unlikely — but mutually beneficial — connection.
In Las Vegas, Sadie schools Lola on the presidential pool, Kimberlyn snags a primetime slot and Grace pursues a candidate's medical records.
At an unexpected memorial service, Lola and Kimberlyn fall out over different expressions of grief. Later, Grace clashes with her daughter Annie, and Sadie gets an anonymous tip before her career is thrown into jeopardy.
While Sadie must defend herself at work, Kimberlyn prepares for her engagement party and Lola contemplates a new relationship.
When the bus breaks down just hours before the Democratic debate, a disillusioned Lola struggles to fulfill her sponsorships, Grace and Sadie scheme to find a source and Kimberlyn gets existential about her career.
While on the road, Grace and Sadie track down new sources for their explosive story on one of Walker's donors, Lola confronts her family after an article about her past drops and Kimberlyn cracks under her own expectations.
After breaking a crucial story, Grace must face her family issues when Annie goes radio silent. Later, Kimberlyn and Sadie bond while retrieving an important package and Lola discovers her social media has been hacked.
Ahead of the DNC, Lola struggles to get credentials, Grace heads home, Kimberlyn gets an exciting offer and Sadie suffers a devastating loss.
After her source reveals explosive evidence, Sadie mobilizes Grace, Lola and Kimberlyn to investigate a claim that could threaten the Democratic nomination. While Lola's findings pivot into a new opportunity, Kimberlyn makes a career-altering move.
