Season 1:
Nico is a girl who is unable to fit in at school because she has constant anxiety attacks and her only thought is to leave for London to attend a music school. During the class performance she has a hallucination and for this reason she is taken to the Argo psychiatric clinic. At first she thinks her stay will be short, but soon she realizes that it won't be. Nico runs into other kids who, like her, have "something wrong".
Michele is caught by a strong withdrawal crisis and for this reason he tries to make sure to see his pusher. Emma continues to chat with her admirer and ends up sending him a hot video while Nico finds himself having to deal with Valentina, his schoolmate who bullied her, who is doing her school-work alternation at Argo.
After seeing Michele and Nico, Daniel falls into a deep depression and never wants to get out of bed again. Emma discovers that her erotic video has made the rounds of the school, with catastrophic consequences for her relationship with Jacopo. Michele devises a plan to free Nico from Valentina's presence, but something doesn't go as it should.
Daniel is obsessed with a thought: if he can play the song "Anima Mia" on the piano, his brother Sami will go to see him. Michael is afraid that his friend will find the pills he stole hidden in the piano, and Nico, dazed by the medication, can't seem to keep a clear head about her relationship with him. Much to his surprise, Sami shows up at the clinic to talk to Daniel, but his intentions are anything but good.

Nico is under sedation and, while sleeping, goes over some traumatic events that led her to be bullied. The boys visit her and talk to her continuously while she is prey to her hallucinations. Reliving the traumas, however, triggers a deep need in her mind: she must get out of the clinic, and she must do it with her friends.
With the help of Tonia, the four boys organize their escape from the Argo. Michele is determined to reach his father Sebastiano before leaving and he is joined by Nico and Daniel. Emma, instead, wants to see Jacopo, her boyfriend, to clarify and make peace, but when she meets him she discovers a truth.
Nico, Michele and Daniel arrive at Sebastiano's house where a party is taking place. It seems immediately clear to Nico that Michele's father has no intention of taking his son with him but the boy keeps hoping that he will, ending up being manipulated by his parent. The party degenerates when, driven by alcohol, some of the guests decide to lock Daniel in a closet. Emma, meanwhile, decides to return to the clinic.
