Fitoor narrates a love story that transcends above all as a person in love is bound to forget about the worries of the past and the uncertainty of the future. Despite being a successful architect, Haider feels lacking in his love life as he is still living with the memories of his love interest. On the other hand, Dilnasheen who hails from a middle-class background is deeply in love with her best friend's brother Hamza and both vows to be with each other forever without realizing the difficulties they might have to overcome. Living in her present, Dilnasheen's life takes an unfortunate turn when she crosses paths with Haider. Will Haider and Dilnasheen be able to forget their past and move on in their lives? Or will the past pay them a visit when they begin to settle down? Will Haider and Dilnasheen be able to distinguish between their past and present?

Season 1:
Many years later, Haider realizes he has cried for Mehmal for too long. And when he sees Dilnasheen, his heart reawakens to the possibility of love.
Haider gets even more drawn to Dilnasheen's innocence in their second interaction.
Dilnasheen asks her family to turn down Haider's proposal, hoping that Hamza will convince his parents for their marriage.
Dilnasheen's family faces the worst humiliation when Hamza's father reports them to the police after Hamza goes missing.
After returning from the police station, Dilnasheen's family then rushes into marrying her off to Haider to avoid further disgrace.
Hamza begins losing his mind with the fear of losing Dilnasheen. He decides to speak to his parents.
As Haider's wedding festivities kick off, his cousin Mehmal begins to regret rejecting him many years ago for a much wealthier man.

Mehmal finds a way to intimidate Dilnasheen by digging into her past with Hamza.
Dilnasheen gathers the courage to tackle Mehmal's conspiracies, but the next thing she sees is Hamza's sister visiting her mother-in-law as Mehmal's guest.
Dilnasheen is no longer welcomed in her mother's house after they wrongly suspect her of an extramarital affair.
Mehmal reveals the identity of Dilnasheen's former lover but ends up facing a backlash.
Haider comes face to face with Hamza when he least expected it.
Trust issues get in the way of Haider and Dilnasheen's marriage after he realizes his wife has been withholding the truth.

Dilnasheen feels trapped after Mehmal leaves with her husband. Dilnasheen can neither convince Hamza nor walk away from him.
Hamza's substance abuse brings him closer to losing his place in his professional and personal life. Next, Dilnasheen receives a threatening phone call from Hamza's mother.
Dilnasheen meets Hamza upon his insistence, but with the intention to end all his expectations from her.
Dilnasheen's family and in-laws abandon her at the hospital after finding out about her miscarriage. Hamza's mother uses the opportunity to separate her son from Dilnasheen.
Hamza decides to move on at the earliest and marries his cousin, Asfiya. Dilnasheen's brother also cuts all ties with her.
Dilnasheen returns to Haider's house with hopes of resolving their differences.
Haider's mother confesses about her own past and asks Haider to listen to his heart.
