Rocket Boys (2022)
Spanning three crucial decades (1940-60s) in the history of India, the story chronicles the life of three great men responsible for launching India's space and nuclear programs respectively: Dr. Homi J. Bhabha, the architect of India's Nuclear Programme, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, universally acknowledged as the Father of the Indian Space Programme and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the pioneer of modern Indian aerospace and nuclear technology. The season traces the journey of Bhabha and Sarabhai coming to terms with the challenges facing a young, independent nation and their friendship, sacrifice and determination.

Season 2:
Dr Vikram Sarabhai prepares for a rocket launch, only to learn that the entire space programme may be in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Dr Homi Bhabha prepares to fight for his dreams but is forced to battle for his life.
Vikram’s ambition falters before it can take off. As he struggles to break ground, Mrinalini takes a bold step to claim her right. In the meantime, Homi’s actions force the enemy’s hand. He is invited to battle but is he ready to take it on?
The nation grieves a great loss and a shift of power is orchestrated as political vultures close ranks. Homi and Vikram are forced to take sides. In the face of an uncertain future, will they continue to choose country over self?
Homi faces opposition on all fronts as he races against time, while Indira struggles to come out of her father’s towering shadow. In the meantime, Vikram and Mrinalini battle on the home front while the country faces the threat of another war.
India’s nuclear future is on the line as Homi throws caution to the winds and takes the enemy head on. Meanwhile, Vikram contemplates forgiveness as the rift between him and Homi grows wider.
