Season 1:

1821 - 2021: 200 years since the Greek Revolution. This double episode examines the factors that lead the Greeks to reclaim their Hellenic identity and revolt against the Ottoman Empire.

While the Ottoman Empire deals with the Revolution lead by Filiki Eteria and Alexandros Ipsilantis outside of Greece, an even greater Revolution is rising on Greek grounds.

The once great Greek Nation has successfully fought back against the Ottoman Empire and is ready to form their first government in 400 years. But greed and lust for power are lurking in the Greek territory.

The fourth episode focuses on the division of the Greeks, which shakes the struggle - a struggle that must be continued at all costs. The divided Greeks are called upon to face the Ottoman counterattack, reinforced by Egyptian troops. This time, the main enemy is listening to the name Ibrahim. The Egyptian pasha, in a show of strength, destroys Kasos and Psara before invading the Peloponnese in 1825, sowing panic and destruction. Now, the fate of the Revolution hangs on a thread.

The fifth episode focuses on the first Governor of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias. In January 1828, Ioannis Kapodistrias arrived in Greece in order to complete the most difficult task: the creation of a modern and centralized state. His time, however, counts down, as his opponents are many and strong, inside and outside Greece. His brutal assassination, the formation of the first independent Greek Kingdom and the valuation of the two centuries of Greek Independence.
