Mama Malone (1984)
Mama Malone is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from March 7, 1984 to July 21, 1984 starring British character actress Lila Kaye as the title character, an Italian homemaker who hosts a cooking show from her Brooklyn apartment. She never gets to properly instruct viewers on her recipes because friends and family members keep interrupting her show.

Season 1:
Mama Malone is overjoyed when she learns that Dino has a girlfriend, but her demeanor turns dour upon learning that they're living together and the woman works as a stripper.
Mama doesn't approve when she learns that Connie's been rekindling her romance with her first love.
A jealous husband interrupts the show after Mama Malone's niece seeks marital advice from Father Silva.
When Frankie brings home a girl who's more mature, the family discuss whether or not it's time to talk to him about sex.
Frankie's father is coming to take him to the circus, and since the boy hasn't seen his dad in 8 years, he's not happy about it. Also, Stanley tries to shake up his narration for the show.
The new neighbor starts a war over Mama Malone over bag of trash in the hall, but it comes to a head when he's accused of being gay.
After Mama Malone declines neighbor Calvin's invitation to the dance, Nedda offers to go with him. Meanwhile, Connie lands a date with a quarterback, Dino tries to land a part in an opera, Frankie works at the bowling alley.
Dino claims that he's suicidal because he was booed off stage, but it turns out there's a secondary reason for his blues.
Sister Philomena reveals that Frankie scored high on his aptitude test and encourages Connie to transfer him to a public school in Manhattan.
A woman shows up at the taping of the show claiming to have been invited by Dino, but it gradually becomes apparent that she's not playing with a full deck.
Mama throws an 80th birthday party for Padre Guardiano, and has tried to finagle a phone call from the Pope.
Mama attempts to do a serious cooking show after learning that her family's won a prestigious award, but she loses her temper when they start goofing around.
