Pampinea settles in as the lady of the house, Neifile and Panfilo receive unfortunate news and romance blossoms within the group.
A new guest threatens Pampinea’s position. Neifile learns the truth about her husband. Filomena tries to reclaim her identity.
The nobles and servants devise a plan to take back the villa from Ruggiero. While in exile, Licisca and Filomena try to reconcile their differences.
