Season 1:
Getting a regular, full-time job isn't easy for young Koreans who have no connections or money, like Sang-su - or for women, like Jeong-o.
Officer Oh Yang-chon disregards a call from his wife about a family emergency in order to help a senior colleague chase down a suspect.
The probationary officers' first violent crime scene takes them by surprise. Yang-chon finds a piece of evidence that will clear his name.
Yang-chon doesn't seem to want to get along with anyone, especially Sang-su. Jeong-o responds to a report of possible domestic violence.
From difficult cases to workplace tensions to personal family issues, each day is riddled with problems for the officers at Hongil Patrol Division.
Apprehension grips Hongil Patrol Division after Jeong-o's incident. Along with her mentor Kang Nam-il, Jeong-o faces investigation by Internal Affairs.
Jeong-o's attempt to capture a suspect in a prostitution case goes awry. Discontent against Yang-chon grows after Sang-su gets injured on duty.
Jang-mi, Jeong-o and Nam-il join forces to round up those involved in prostitution. Rivalries heat up at Hongil Patrol Division's team-building outing.
More desperately than before, Sang-su makes his feelings known to Jeong-o. Jang-mi and Gyeong-mo team up to investigate Ju-yeong's shady dealings.
As Han-sol predicted, Yang-chon flips out when he learns what Ju-yeong has been doing. He's all the more stunned when he hears what his father did.
The officers are determined to seek justice for Sam-bo. Jang-mi is certain a serial rapist is at large, but lacks evidence to request a task force.
Another crisis strikes the victim of the recent sexual assault incident. Yang-chon joins Jang-mi's team to focus on catching the serial sex offender.
Despite the risks, Sang-su chases the suspect into the woods. With his daughter getting married soon, Han-sol keeps his diagnosis a secret for now.
Jeong-o risks facing Internal Affairs again by arguing for sex education in the schools and offending the parents of high school students.
Jang-mi faces severe disciplinary action for a mistake her superiors made. Min-seok is accused of using unnecessary force to restrain a citizen.
The Hongil Patrol Division is hit hard by the recent incident. The officers continue to deal with the unjust realities of being honest cops.
Uncertain of her sense of duty as a patrol officer, Jeong-o makes her big decision, but she can't help feeling guilty, especially toward Sang-su.
Sang-su’s career is on the line as the media labels his case as gun violence, and police leaders are quick to appease the public.
