Double Decker! Doug & Kirill (2018)
The city state of Lisvalletta. Two suns rise above this city, and the people here live peaceful lives, but in the shadows, crime and illegal drugs run rampant. Among them is the dangerous, highly lethal drug "Anthem" which casts a dark shadow over the city. The SEVEN-O Special Crime Investigation Unit specializes in cracking down on Anthem. This unit operates in two-man "buddy" teams in what's called the "Double Decker System" to tackle the problem. Doug Billingham is a seasoned investigator, and joining him is Kirill Vrubel, whose abilities are mysterious and unknown.

Rookie officer Kirill dreams of the day he'll get to be a hero, and finally gets his chance when a hostage situation gets tight for veteran SEVEN-O investigator Doug Billingham.
The new partnership of Doug and Kirill is put to the test when they suddenly receive word of an Anthem-induced prison break.
Kirill tries his landlady's advice to win over Doug's affections while the team goes undercover to stop a blue collar Anthem smuggling operation.
After Kay and Deana's good cop, bad cop personalities clash during an investigation of a pretty-boy club, they come to learn the importance of the Double Decker System.
Doug agrees to a meeting with Zabel, a prisoner who faces death for his crimes. This valuable information could bring down the deadly Esperanza organization, and a less severe sentence for Zabel, if the detectives can trust him.
A murderer is sentenced to death, but he offers to give critical information on Esperanza in exchanged for a commuted sentence. But is there more to his deal than there seems? And how will he be protected from Esperanza's assassins?
Doug’s search for answers about the death of his former partner puts him on the trail of the mysterious gangster Good-Looking Joe.
With the prospective Primus Academy prom queens falling victim to a serial attacker, will Max be able to crack the case and get a second chance at prom?
SEVEN-O gets involved in a ransom exchange following a political kidnapping, but things go south when one of their own becomes a kidnapee.
Doug takes some time off to recover after being wounded in the kidnapping. Kirill keeps coming to visit him, but only for help finishing a pile of reports.
After the incident at the hospital, the police do a search of every university hospital in the city. Meanwhile, Kirill gets an unexpected job offer.
As SEVEN-O sinks into sorrow, the majority of Esperanza members are found dead. With no one to fight, the detectives are ordered to stand by at home.
Sometimes a detective must take great risks to fight a great evil, for the sake of their friends and the things they believe in. This is the story of those detectives who put their lives on the line for their job!
