Season 1:
Byun So Ra, a confident and independent woman excitedly races through her usual routine into a seemingly perfect day.
Byun So Ra had a crush on Yoon Joon Soo, the minute she entered the university and was more than thrilled when he asked her out in an honest and seemingly romantic manner.
Byun So Ra steps out of the bathroom to get dressed for the big day at her work, the opening event of a new branch.
Feeling dreadful for having kicked out Wang Jin Joo, Byun So Ra calls her up first thing in the morning to apologise and invite her back in.
When Byun So Ra wonders why Wang Jin Joo adorns herself for work, she explains her theory of the vital role appearances play in the success of a company.
Both Wang Jin Joo and Kang Chan Jin encourage Yoon Joon Soo and Byun So Ra to look for new love, indirectly revealing their feelings.
Byun So Ra is on her way to a date with Yoon Joon Soo while Wang Jin Joo trudges home, feeling defeated.
After having spent a long night of with a secret date, Byun So Ra gets flustered on waking up way past her usual time.
The party ends on a not so surprising note as both Joon Soo and Jin Joo pass out from excessive drinking.
After a night of heavy drinking Joon Soo lies unconscious in the bed on which Jin Joo is cuddled next to him.
With a sudden announcement of personnel appointments, Chan Jin becomes a board member and is promoted to managing director.
Byun So Ra is upset on finding out that on the night of their vacation, Joon Soo had been in a hotel with Jin Joo.
Joon Soo regrets betraying So Ra and spending their vacation night with Jin Joo, Joon Soo sincerely begs So Ra for forgiveness.
As Joon Soo sits waiting in his office for So Ra to come, he receives a sudden phone call from Director Park calling to tell him the truth behind Chan Jin's mother.
On leaning that Chan Jin has fallen sick, Byun So Ra's suppressed feelings force her to rush off to see him.
After being influenced by the cunning Chairman, So Ra tells Joon Soo that she wants to end their relationship.
So Ra having changed her mind under the influence of the Chairman, Chan Jin asks So Ra again to reconfirm her feelings towards Joon Soo.
So Ra reminisces her date with Joon Soo when they were back in college as she holds a photo of them from that time.
Watching over the Chairman, Jin Joo tells him about the first day she had met Joon Soo as Joon Soo looks at the two from afar.
Jin Joo who had enthusiastically prepared the engagement from start to finish suddenly breaks it off.
