Tokyo 23-ku Onna (2019)
Freelance writer Harada Ririko and former lecturer on folklore Shimano Hitoshi go around to Tokyo’s hidden spots with horror stories. They encounter many apparitions in places that everyone knows about in the 23 wards. There is the office lady who wanders the subterranean drains of Shibuya ward in search of her missing mother. The mistress who hides a dead body in Koto ward’s Yume no Shima. The riddle of the Ikebukuro woman and romance in old age. The secret of the female CEO who encounter an apparition in a late night taxi plying Minato ward. The doctor’s wife whose fate is at the mercy of Itabashi ward’s tree which is supposed to severe ties between man and woman. The mystery of a woman and the Suzugamori execution grounds related to a crime scene in Shinagawa ward.

Season 1:
An omnibus of horror stories behind Tokyo that depicts fear. As freelance writer Riko (Haruka Shimazaki) with former folklore lecturer Shimano (Amane Okayama), feels some ominous feelings. Around the same time, an office lady, Ryoko (Kana Kurashina), looking on the Shibuya underground to find her missing mother, there she meets a mysterious man (Shiro Sano).
Ruriko (Haruka Shimazaki) heads to Ward to find out what is the meaning of photographs brought by Yuna (Ayumi Uemura), a high school student. One day, Shinko (Yumi Adachi) comes to Yumenoshima to abandon a large baggage with his mistress, owner of a restaurant, Masuko (Asaharu Hasegawa).
Ruriko (Haruka Shimazaki) meets Akune (Bunyo Kohinata), a man who is looking for her missing daughter Mio (Nanami Sakuraba). Ruriko moved to Higashiikebukuro Central Park, which was rumored has a huge tomb built after the end of the war to mourn many war criminals.
Garment designer Nozomi gets into the taxi, where the driver (Naoto Takenaka) keep asks strange question, such as "Do you know why customers add 'o' to Odaiba?". However, the driver keep travels around Minato at night without heading to the destination Roppongi requested, during that time Nozomi's half-life memories come back to life.
In the corner of Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, there was "Eniri Enoki," which has long been celebrated as a sacred tree. Kaoru (Miho Nakayama), who suspected the affair of her husband Satake (Shigemitsu Ogi), tailed her husband leaving Enema Enoki and leaving behind a votive tablet with cryptic characters.
Kiuchi (Shirasu Xun), who works at the police station in Shinagawa, feels someone watching him. At the same time, he witnesses many times a suspicious woman standing at the scene of the incident. The woman was Ruriko (Haruka Shimazaki). Meanwhile, Kiuchi follows Ruriko as he enters the Suzugamori prison, an execution place in the Edo period, and listens to his story.
