Season 3:
A women's running event is subjected to a violent attack that leaves nine dead and many seriously injured. Heder represents several of the victims and now wants to convict the perpetrators of terrorism.
The trials against the two perpetrators begin. Challenges arise when one of the perpetrators who comes from one of Denmark's most powerful families, arms himself with the best defense lawyer available.
The prosecutor cannot link one of the perpetrators to the crime and he is acquitted. The four lawyers at Heder deal with the defeat in different ways, which causes a great strain on their cohesion.
The trial against the perpetrator who drove the van is nearing a final verdict. Elin has a final hearing with the accused, and Heder has unearthed new information that damages the defense's strategy.
