Season 1:
On a spring day in 1897, socialites Adrienne and Alice and maid Rose join the crowds at a Parisian charity bazaar, where a shocking tragedy unfolds.
As the overwhelmed hospitals tend to the wounded, a desperate mother searches for her missing daughter, and Adrienne plots to get Camille back.
Madame Huchon makes her captive an offer, Adrienne tries to sneak a message to Camille, and Alice is pressured by her father to marry Julien.
Adrienne resorts to drastic measures to salvage her London plan. The news about Victor leaves Alice reeling. Rose's situation grows more complicated.
After Camille vanishes, de Lenverpré hires men to scour the city, and Adrienne learns a dark secret. Odette's husband returns from his travels.
Léo rescues Camille from danger, Alice and Victor confront the projectionist, and Adrienne visits the cabaret where Eva Schaff performed.
A defiant Alice sets out to clear Victor's name. Rose makes a surprise announcement at a dinner party. Adrienne works to win back her husband's trust.
As the city clamors for an execution, Adrienne, Alice and Rose put everything on the line to protect the ones they love.
