Season 1:
Despite the skepticism of their friends and family, Clark and Michael are convinced that they have a TV script that will make them stars.
Clark and Michael get rejected by their first company and decide to join a health club so as to improve both mind and body.
Clark and Michael visit their agent and he has as much trouble keeping their names straight as he does selling their script. Clark makes a new pitch for a show without Michael.
Clark is upset that one of his scripts was stolen and made into a TV show. Michael is upset that Clark wrote a script without him.
Mike and Clark go to a party to try and make connections for their show.
Michael and Clark spend the day searching for office space with a pushy realtor and looking for someone to create a theme song for their project.

Clark lays down the law at a deli after his luncheon meat is ruined. Afterwards, Clark and Michael meet up with Tom and Derek for a meal and a writing session.
Clark is busy at meeting so Michael does his laundry for him. The next day the boys decide to join a martial arts class to get in shape. That night the boys have a meeting to try and sell their script.
Clark starts to lose hope that the show will get picked up and begins applying to colleges. Michael on the other hand is still hopeful and even though he is reading for auditions, he tells his agent he will be too busy to accept anything. Clark gets accepted to Columbia and plans on going when the summer is over which leaves Michael bummed out thinking that their friendship is coming to an end.
