Road Rovers (1996)

The Road Rovers are a team of five super-powered crime-fighting anthropomorphic dogs known as "cano-sapiens". Their leader is Hunter, a golden retriever mix from the United States. The Rovers' boss is a scientist known as The Master who oversees their operations and supplies them with equipment from their subterranean headquarters.

The Rovers have to find a stolen device that could destroy the world. They are pitted against a new enemy, Captain Zachary Storm, a militant who was discharged from the military and is now out for revenge.

Episode 3: A Hair of the Dog That Bit You (Sep 21, 1996)
The Road Rovers travel to England to fight a group of werewolves wreaking havoc. They return to MissionControl seemingly safe, but when ""werewolfy"" things start happening there, it is obvious that one of their teammates is infected. But which Road Rover is it? And can they stop their infected comrade before he/she destroys mankind? (Not to mention devouring all their kibble!)

When a sceptor is stolen, the Road Rovers attempt to create a peace between two warring countries with the aid of a pack of wolves by embarking on a mission to recover the sceptor without getting themselves caught.

Episode 5: Let Sleeping Dogs Lie (Oct 26, 1996)
General Parvo has a new crazed scheme! He wants to awaken a dinosaur family and use them to wreak havoc! He enlists the help of a band of Shiba Inu Cano-Mutant Ninjas. The Rovers must stop them from stealing artifacts that could lead to disaster, so they travel to Japan!

Episode 6: The Dog Who Knew Too Much (Nov 02, 1996)
A small dog from San Francisco witnesses the kidnapping of his master! The Rovers find and rescue him, and he is trans-dogmified to go to court to testify with the aid of the Road Rovers, who have no idea what they are in for. Will they be caught themselves?

Episode 7: Hunter's Heroes (Nov 09, 1996)
Parvo is now running an operation of kidnapped dogs! Colleen and Shag sneak themselves into the facility where they find not just a few dogs, but hundreds! Parvo's plan is to transform them into his servants at his leisure! How will Colleen and Shag escape? And will they rescue every single one of the dognapped pups?
Dawn of the Groomer
Episode 8: Dawn of the Groomer (Nov 16, 1996)
The Groomer defies Parvo and retreats to Egypt with three of her felo-mutants! The Rovers must stop the new breed of enemies, the Felo-sapiens, (human cats). A startling revelation about an enemy is revealed when Groomer tries an ancient Egyptian ritual to grant herself eternal life.

General Parvo's new plan is just letting his new breed of fighters destroy the world! The Road Rovers find themselves facing three mutant insects! They receive no help from Muzzle, who has fallen head-over-paws in love with Parvo's female rottweiler, Greta. Will they deal? Will Greta leave Parvo to join the RRs?
Reigning Cats and Dogs
Episode 10: Reigning Cats and Dogs (Feb 01, 1997)
After discovering an amazing tool, Parvo goes back in time in the form of a cat! He becomes the pet of Professor William Shepherd, who is just perfecting his Trans-Dogmifier. Parvo plans to derail Shepard's ideas, thus ruining the future of Road Rovers! Parvo's past is revealed as the Rovers hunt him down.

A deep declining decrease in the world currency/gold market sends the Rovers out on a mission to recover the gold in South America. They meet a young boy who happens to be blind. His dog has been stolen by mutant pirhana fish. Will they save him?

The Rovers' owners - the world leaders - are brainwashed into warring with one another because of an extra-terrestrial force! It is up to the Road Rovers to save them, and the whole world from nuclear war!

Episode 13: A Day in the Life (Feb 22, 1997)
Ever wondered how the Rovers manage their lives? The Road Rovers go out on a normal day of missions. It is discovered that Hunter carries with him a photo of a beautiful female dog, whom the Rovers assume to be his girlfriend. Who is she?
