Beast (2000)
Beast is a BBC One sitcom based in a veterinary surgery. Two series of six episodes each were made, with the first broadcast in early 2000 and the second in early 2001. The main premise of the show is that the main character and practice owner doesn't like being a vet and has a strong dislike of animals.

Season 2:
Suffering a hangover, Nick accidentally amputates a cat's foot and is sued for £25,000. Briony offers to buy shares in the practice.
Nick agrees to ride naked through the village on a pig if he loses his bet about the diagnosis of a sick dog.
Jade comes up with the idea of starting dog aerobic classes to raise some extra cash for the practice.
Nick is invited to judge the local cat show and discovers some of the owners are open to bribery. He then woos cat owner Mona.
Nick falls for the owner of a pet python and pursues her to her workplace - a raunchy nightclub.
